History

The Noah family only get their powers when they activate. This was shown in a flashback of Skin, and it is assumed that this happens with every Noah member. So before they knew they were a member of the Noah family, they had lives prior to realising their 'true' life.

It isn't surprising then that there are two sides to Tyki Mikk. He has a 'black' side, which describes his form of a member of the Noah family, and a 'white' side, which he uses to hang around humans for fun.

The ability Tyki possesses is that he can touch what he wants, and simply faze through what he doesn't want. For instance, when he first met Allen, he threathened to take out his heart simply by moving his arm through his chest, and he could choose to only touch the heart, and remove it without leaving a flesh wound. He also has the power to let 'Tease' out of his body. Tease look like butterflies but can bury themselves into people and eat out their hearts, or even kill them.

Personality

Tyki is someone who does things merely because they are 'fun' to do. He has said in the past that half of the reason he's participating in the Earl's 'game' is because it's fun being evil. He is the Noah family member of 'pleasure', so this should not be surprising.

That being said, he does have people he gets attached to other than simply playing with them. He loves his family, dysfunctional as they might be, and wants to protect Rhode. In his 'white' form, Tyki enjoys hanging out with humans, in particular a group of mining workers, who he also plays cards with. Allen once suggested that Tyki actually longed to be human instead of a Noah family, which would explain why he cares so much about his human friends as a Noah, who usually have nothing but contempt for humans.

Tyki is a dependable person up to a certain extent, because he's a man of his word. However, he usually teases his opponents instead of making promises. Tyki loves playing with his 'prey', both via words and in battle, where he is too confident about his abilities to show any sign of distress and . Only when he really gets serious about battling does he throw out his cigarette.
